Steps

1. Coupang main image
   Square, 1000×1000px recommended (minimum 500px), JPG/PNG, up to 10MB; non-square images are auto-resized. Coupang's guide asks for a clean white background (RGB 255,255,255), one product per image, the product's longer side filling about 95% of the frame, and no logos, borders, watermarks, text, sale badges, illustrations or heavy retouching. Up to 9 additional images.
2. Naver Smart Store main image
   1000×1000px recommended, 1 main image plus up to 9 additional images. Naver's guidance favors a front view showing the whole product on a white or solid background, with colors and shape matching the real item.
3. Shoot with a phone
   Put the product on white paper or foam board near a window with indirect light, use a second white board as a reflector to soften shadows, turn off the flash, and shoot at 1x from slightly above product height. Fill the frame and keep the product sharp.
4. Plan the additional images
   Use extra slots for angles, details (texture, stitching, ports), size reference, what's in the box, and lifestyle shots. Lifestyle or styled backgrounds belong here or on the detail page, not in Coupang's main image.
5. Check accuracy before upload
   The color, shape, quantity and version must match what the customer receives. Look at the main image at phone size to confirm it reads clearly.

Limits to know

Honest limits: Coupang's guide asks for real photographs and forbids excessive retouching in the main image. Use AI-generated backgrounds or scenes for additional and detail images, and double-check that any AI-edited image still shows the exact product (labels, colors, shape) before listing.
